Brand New EP Release

Showcasing the beautifully understated voice of (now) 22 year old vocalist Hannah Layton Turner, with thoughtful accompaniment from her small team of musicians, the aptly-named EP ‘Reflections’ features an eclectic mix of songs written and associated with the likes of Lennon/McCartney, Jack Johnson and Randy Newman with the justifiable inclusion of a cover of a Hannah’s Yard original song from their debut album – ‘Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry’.

Beginnings - A Few Words From Hannah

Well...we’ve done it! Recorded over a period of two years and nothing short of a ‘labour of love’ for all involved, here is ‘Beginnings’ – the debut album from Hannah’s Yard. There’s 14 songs for you…principally about life and love…and across a mix of musical styles too - always on the ‘acoustic pop’ side of jazz, folk, country…whatever…and all representative of the Hannah’s Yard ‘twist’ we tend to put on songs.

A couple of unexpected songs have made the final album as ‘bonus’ tracks: a cover of ‘Amazing Grace’, given that it was written in the small English town where we’re based…Olney, back in the 1770s…and a song featuring my vocals at the age of 15 – ‘Make Your Mind Up’.

We sincerely hope that ‘Beginnings’ demonstrates musicians enjoying themselves with songs that they can take to audiences far and wide...spreading a little Hannah’s Yard love in the process!

Love, Hannah x
